History

1977-1980

• PT Justus Kimiaraya was established by the Martaniardjo family, as a chemical trading company that mainly serves the local industry.

1980-1990

• PT Justus Sakti Raya was established as the manufacturing company of the group. It became the first Unsaturated Polyester Resin producer in Indonesia, under license from Showa Highpolymer Co. Ltd. (Japan) with total capacity of 6,000 tonnes/year. The trade name of the product is YUKALAC® Unsaturated Polyester Resin.
• PT Justus Kimiaraya extended its distribution network by opening branch offices in major cities of Indonesia: Medan, Surabaya, and Semarang.
• In 1990, PT Justus Sakti Raya expanded its production capacity of Unsaturated Polyester Resin to 12,000 tonnes/year.

1991-2000

• PT Justus Sakti Raya started manufacturing Metallic Soap/Drier under license from Lonza SpA (Italy). The trade name of the product is YUKALIC® Metallic Soap/Drier.
• In 1992, PT Justus Sakti Raya started manufacturing Polymer Emulsion (Latex) under license from Showa Highpolymer Co. Ltd. (Japan). The trade name of the product is YUKASHU® Polymer Emulsion
• PT Justus Sakti Raya increased UPR production capacity from 12,000 to 24,000 tonnes/year, under license from Lonza SpA (Italy).
• PT Justus Kimiaraya extended its distribution network by opening new branch office in Bandung, a growing city that mainly focuses in the textile industry.
• PT Justus Sakti Raya obtained ISO 9002 Certificate for UPR, Polymer Emulsion and Drier production.
• In 1998, PT Justus Sakti Raya started manufacturing Maleic Anhydride and Fumaric Acid (food and technical grade) under license from Lonza SpA.  About 70% of the product is exported worldwide.
• PT Justus Sakti Raya obtained ISO 9002 & HACCP Certificate for Maleic Anhydride and Fumaric Acid.

2001- 2010

• PT. Justus Kimiaraya has become one of the major trading companies and also a market leader in Indonesia, in both fields of general chemicals and specialty chemicals, such as: Industrial chemicals, Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic, Coatings, Food Additivies, Pharmaceuticals.
• The group implemented an integrated IT system that enabled on-line communications between different departments nationwide to increase efficiency.

2011- Current

• In 2013, PT Justus Sakti Raya increased its UPR production capacity from 24,000 to 40,000 tonnes/year, becoming the largest UPR producer in Indonesia.
• PT Justus Sakti Raya currently has a total output of more than 65,000 tonnes/year of chemical product that serves both the local and international market.
